Thanks for those that came tonight.. heres a bit of a summary of what was said

• Season starts end of August (see dates below)
• The rule for amount of times throughout the league a team has been put on hold. Before in a winter league you were only allowed to draw out twice per half of the season; this season you're allowed to draw out every single league game if needed.
• 3 empty fixture weeks will be included across the season, these are there to catch up with any fixtures where teams are unable to get a full team because of any isolations brought on etc.
• If a team does find out that they need to isolate less than 48 hours before a fixture, let us know asap to avoid any fines that would normally be issued for short notice. Any other cancellation reasons less than this 48 hours will be fined as usual
• So far we've got 23/24 teams confirmed, as this stands this will be 3 leagues of 8 (one with a possible bye).

Key Dates

• 4th August - Deadline for teams to pick up paperwork and confirm they are joining the league. This is the date we're working out whos in what league.
• 17th August - Meeting at the Courtyard at 7.30pm for teams to return the player registration sheets (competition and late sheets not required yet)
• 31th August - League starts

With BoJo hoping to lift restrictions by June, we've been talking about how we'll be able to restart the darts league...

Our plan is to hopefully start the Winter 21/22 league in September

We're hoping that this will give pub/clubs enough time to return to some normalcy and prepare dart boards and all of you time to dust off those arrows...

Hi all

We had another talk last week to try and see if we could possibly begin to plan to bring darts back for September for a safe winter season.

Unfortunately, we came to the conclusion that it still doesn't seem possible to do.

We know there are many venues that in order to meet current guidelines have had to corden off the darts area completely, lots of players that either still wouldn't feel comfortable returning yet or cannot return for a number of reasons.

Because of this we currently don't plan to try to restart the league until 2021 and have also had to cancel the darts presentation night.

If there are any venues in the league that would like us to help promote or assist in their own dart event they wish to run then we're happy to help where safe to do so.

Following the PM's announcement today of the closure of pubs and clubs, we're postponing the summer league until further notice.

We haven't discussed any plans on how to resume the league yet so will send out further updates as and when we know more...

We've decided that in order to align with the governments latest COVID-19 recommendations, we're postponing the start of the upcoming summer season until at least the KO Cup fixture on APRIL 7TH.

As it stands, the two weeks of postponed games we're looking at moving to the two free weeks within the season but hopefully will know more closer to April 7th.
